  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account. Go to the GoDaddy website (www.godaddy.com) and click on "Sign In" in the top right corner. Enter your account credentials and click "Sign In."

  2. Access your domain settings. After logging in, you should be directed to your account dashboard. Locate the "Domains" section and click on "Manage All."

  3. Select the domain. You will see a list of domains associated with your account. Find the domain 'example.com' and click on it to access its settings.

  4. Navigate to DNS Management. Within the domain settings, look for the "DNS" tab or "DNS Management." Click on it to access the DNS management interface.

  5. Add a new record. In the DNS management interface, scroll down to the "Records" section. Click on the "Add" button to add a new record.

  6. Configure the subdomain. A form will appear for creating a new DNS record. Fill in the following details:

    • Type: Select "A" from the drop-down menu (this indicates an IPv4 address).

    • Host: Enter "video" (without quotes) to set up the subdomain 'video.example.com.'

    • Points to: Enter the IP address from Response.ai (which is 108.128.28.112)

    • TTL (Time to Live): You can leave this as the default.

  7. Save the record. Once you have filled in the details, click on the "Save" or "Add" button to create the DNS record for the subdomain. Here's a .GIF example from GoDaddy's website:

  8. Wait for propagation. DNS changes can take some time to propagate across the internet. It typically takes a few minutes to a few hours, but sometimes it can take up to 48 hours. During this time, the subdomain 'video.example.com' will gradually start pointing to the specified IP address. (Response.ai)

  9. Verify the setup. After the propagation period has passed, you can check if the subdomain is properly set up. Open up Response.ai & create a test campaign.

  10. MAKE SURE you are pointing the subdomain correctly (http://video.example.com) & that you are NOT using HTTPS. Only use HTTP. (without the S).

That's it! You have successfully set up a subdomain called 'video.example.com' on GoDaddy and pointed it to the IP address from Response.ai, 108.128.28.112.
